The year was 1972, as newly imported automotive brands from Europe and Japan weregaining popularity; the founders of Professional Products entered the racing industry as partof Brock Racing Enterprises. The performance and styling parts company was an off-shoot of the Datsun (Nissan) Racing Team. Prior to this, Brock and members of his team were apart of the original design of the Stingray Corvette, DeTomaso Pantera and the iconic ShelbyDaytona Cobra.

At Brock Racing Enterprises, the team set about designing products to turn street pony carsinto performance cars. To prove themselves, the automakers entered Trans Arm Racinggoing against factory Pontiac, Porsche, Alfa Romeo and other teams.

Soon, some of the same performance parts were being made for American muscle cars and the street performance auto part market grew even more. Pro Products became involved atall levels of development, manufacturing and distribution of these specialty performance parts.

Evolving with technology, Pro Products was among the first aftermarket companies developing EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) systems that could be easily installed. By retrofitting the unit to carbureted engines; it helped bridge the gaps between old school hot rodders and modern performance tuners.

Having been recognized at the famed SEMA show for its Best Engineered New Product, Pro Products expanded its product line to include nearly every performance accessory neededfor both old-school and more modern engines.
